Club Championships

Congratulations to all who took part in the Club Championships.  The winners from the finals held at Loanhead last month are listed below.  Well done to them, and the distance awards will be announced in due course.   Lists of results are available on the members only page.

Midjets Gala

This took place on Sunday 14/12 at Dalkeith campus.  The final team results were as follows:

Winners – White team captained by Callum (taking advantage of some dodgy t-shirt practices…..)

Second -Blue, captained by Vicky

Third -Red, captained by Rachel

Last, but savouring every event where they didn’t come last – Yellow, captained by Laura who did a splendid solo exhibition swim at the end as a special prize (or was it just her Mum’s miscounting….!?)

Land Training Review of the Year – Donald McFarlane

Hopefully the swimmers have enjoyed & benefited in some way from the 2 weekly Land Training Sessions we have been running over the course of the year.

Welcome to the new website

Our website has now moved to WordPress, a blogging package, and therefore is easier to add news items and give more people access to control the content.  Its not yet complete but its getting there…. (a bit closer than the last revamp!).  The e-mail facility still needs a bit of tweaking but should be sorted in a couple of days or so.  The best bit is that we now have password controlled pages and news items.  The password will be made available to swimmers shortly and if you have any ideas of content, or photos to upload please contact me – Julie Williamson (Aqua Squad and Bronze Squad as well as website bod), Callum or Vicky (Club Captains).
