s reported earlier in the summer, one of our ex-swimmers Sean Fraser was selected to swim for the GB Paralympic team in Beijing.
Sean made it to the final of his 100m Butterfly event, coming 8th, and in the 100m Backstroke achieved a fantastic Bronze Medal!

Welcome to the website of Midlothian Swimming Club. Founded over 20 years ago we have approximately 90 swimmers aged between 7-21 years old. We have 4 competitive squads split dependent upon age and ability. We also have 2 non-competitive squads for swimmers aged 11 onwards, interested in keeping fit (or cross-training with other sports such as athletics) and having the fun of a club social life but not interested in competing.
The competitive squads enter a number of competitions throughout the year, we hold our AGM and Annual Presentation Dance in January, and we have a number of other social events throughout the year. In addition, we have had an annual exchange with a German Swimming club for 23 years
